Summertime at The Disneyland Resort is a blast every year and this year is no different! They are celebrating the live-action The Little Mermaid all summer long! Here we will tell you all about the exciting things coming to the parks!
The live-action The Little Mermaid comes to movie theaters on May 26th! It stars Halle Bailey as Ariel and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula. The Disneyland Resort is celebrating the release of the movie with a brand new meet and greet, new pretty treats, and so much more!
Meet Ariel at Disneyland!
You get to meet Ariel at Disneyland! For the first time ever, there is a meet and greet with Ariel from the live-action The Little Mermaid! She will be meeting guests at Fantasyland near “it’s a small world.” You will not only be able to meet our favorite mermaid, but you will also get to see a location inspired by Eric’s castle library, complete with whozits and whatzits galore before you take photos with Ariel! You will be able to see her for the whole summer!
“Under the Seat” Treats at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure!
Starting May 26th and until the 29th, you will be able to treat yourself to brand new The Little Mermaid-themed desserts! Make sure to get these as soon as you can because they will only be around for those three days and every day has a limited supply of each item.

- Purple Pineapple Shell Macaron is a purple macaron filled with blue pineapple buttercream and a chocolate pearl.
Cappuccino Cart
- Mermaid Strawberry Cake is a Strawberry cake that is decorated with colorful frosting that is located at Disney California Adventure.

They went all out for The Little Mermaid merchandise! There are Minnie Ears, a Spirit Jersey, dolls, children and adult clothing, and more!

You can get this beautiful shake from Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes in Downtown Disney! It is a Strawberry and Blueberry shake with whipped cream and mermaid sprinkles! The shake will be available from May 26th to June 11th.
The Little Mermaid Birthday Card from Lovepop!
Lovepop in Downtown Disney is filled with so many wonderful greeting cards so of course, they would have a beautiful Ariel Birthday card that you can surprise someone with.
Disney x Pandora
On top of the super-talented sand castles that you can see above, they have a whole lineup for the new movie! You can preview the jewelry at the sand castle display that is right next to Earl of Sandwich. I’m obsessed with The Little Mermaid charm bracelet! You can find these at the Pandora store in Downtown Disney and on their website.

You can head into the summer with this awesome new pair of Ray Ban sunglasses that is inspired by The Little Mermaid. You can find these at the Sunglass Hut in Downtown Disney.
